Successful Outcome of the 10th World Filtration Congress in Leipzig

The international filtration and separation community met at the Leipzig Congress Center from 14-18 April 2008 for the 10th World Filtration Congress. WFC10 was attended by 750 delegates from 45 nations, 150 exhibitors and a total of 2400 participants. This major event was hosted by the VDI Society for Chemical and Process Engineering GVC, with Filtech Exhibitions Germany being responsible for organizational execution.

The WFC10 embraced five days from Monday to Friday. The first day was foreseen for technical SHORT COURSES presented by leading experts. Three and a half days were planned for the technical CONGRESS and EXHIBITION. More than 350 technical presentations with 7 concurrent sessions were presented and a major international exhibition with over 150 EXHIBITORS from the filtration and separation industry and manufacturers of particle measurement instruments featured the latest innovations and the most modern technology available. The afternoon of the last day was reserved for post-congress PLANT TOURS.
