Catalana de Perforacions, S.A. is a company founded in 1984,
specialized in vertical drilling for subterranean water intake
and, since 1996, in horizontal directional drilling, used e.g.
for the trench-less installation of pipelines for water, gas, etc.
Based on this has been developed Neodren, the leading technology
for seawater intake and partial pre-treatment based on sub-seabed
drains, that saves costs and does meet the most stringent environmental
regulations. The system is not affected by dynamic action in the sea due
to its positioning below the seabed, and it is especially applicable in
coastal areas with shallow water.
