A registered society since 31st January 2001. It was founded
in 2000 as an affiliation of members from the sectors: Plant construction, Membrane
manufacture, Advisory and consulting services, R & D, Operators of membrane
equipment, experts from various faculties. Its declared objective is to promote
membrane technology and its application in Germany.
The DGMT sees itself as an unbiased mediator between the users of membrane processes
and specialist enterprises in the membrane technology sector. The DGMT undertakes
to mediate potential clients/users of membrane technology to qualified specialist
firms, to provide literature and information, to organise seminars and events,
to support the participation of membrane enterprises in trade exhibitions, to
stimulate and accompany research and to perform public relation campaigns and
political work.
