Elmarco is dynamically growing through it's commitment to the production of high-tech
solutions for the nanofiber and semiconductor industry.
With strategic partner, the Technical University of Liberec, Elmarco has developed
the first machines for the mass production of nanofiber materials. The patented
technology named NanospiderTM uses a strong electrostatic field to create nanofibers.
Unlike the known electrospinning methods where the spinning head is formed by jets,
Nanospider spinning head is in shape of a cylinder. The main benefits of Nanospider
are high throughput, easy maintenance and economical production of high quality
nanofiber materials.
Elmarco is producer of industrial line designed for the production of the new unique
material Nanospider AntimicrobeWeb TM . AntimicrobeWeb™ is a new material for the
elimination of mechanical or biological impurities of inhaled or exhaled air.
The material consists of an inner and outer side of non-woven textile with a double
nanofiber layer between them. One of the nanofiber layers contains at least one
antimicrobial additive and therefore is effective in the inhibition of biological
impurities. The second nanofiber layer with smaller pores is designed as a supporting
fine filtration layer. The utilization of this unique material is in face masks and
filter media for capture of mechanical or biological impurities.
