Fibra has commercialized a novel patented fibrous bed device, developed for
a range of multi-phase liquid treatment applications. The UK company’s
largest shareholder is a Shell Technology Ventures fund.
The Fibra device is used for:
- Fine filtration (down to 1 µm)
- Coalescence (for oil droplet removal)
- Gas contacting (for oxygenation or pH adjustment)
The technology has been used for a wide range of industrial applications including
wastewater treatment in the concrete sector, to process water, fish farms, car
washes, and the oil and gas sector.
